Acceptance

By creating an account or using HiReceptionist, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and iVerse Apps, the company that operates HiReceptionist.

Description of service

HiReceptionist is an AI-powered voice receptionist platform. It allows you to set up an AI assistant that answers incoming phone calls on your behalf, takes messages, answers common questions, books appointments (with integrations), and sends you call summaries.

The service does not provide emergency response services. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or emergency assistance. Do not rely on it for emergencies.

Account registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to use HiReceptionist
• You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date account information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• One account per person — you may not share accounts or create accounts on behalf of others without authorisation

Free trial

• The trial period begins immediately upon account creation
• Trial minutes (10 minutes) are available for live calls during the 7 days
• After 7 days, the trial expires automatically — your receptionist will pause
• No charges are made if you do not enter payment details
• One trial per person — creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated trials is prohibited

Subscriptions & billing

Plans

Billing terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Dodo Payments
• Minutes are allocated per billing cycle and do not roll over to the next month
• When your monthly minutes are exhausted, your receptionist pauses — no overage charges
• You can upgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard; the upgrade takes effect immediately
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard
• Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are issued for partial months or unused minutes

Acceptable use

You must not use HiReceptionist to:

• Make spam calls, conduct telemarketing without consent, or harass individuals
• Impersonate emergency services, law enforcement, medical professionals, or government agencies
• Make outbound calls without TCPA-compliant prior express written consent (US users)
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, hack, or abuse the platform or its infrastructure
• Resell or sublicense the HiReceptionist service without prior written permission from iVerse Apps
• Use the service in connection with any illegal or fraudulent activity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions without notice.

AI disclaimers

• The AI is powered by third-party language models and voice processing services
• It may occasionally mishear, misunderstand, or give an incorrect response
• It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice
• You are responsible for reviewing call summaries and transcripts for accuracy
• We do not guarantee the AI will handle every call correctly or completely
• AI responses should not be treated as professional advice of any kind

Call recording

If you enable call recording in your receptionist settings:

• Recordings are subject to applicable wiretapping and consent laws in your jurisdiction
• You are solely responsible for compliance with one-party and two-party consent laws
• In many US states and countries, all parties must be informed that a call is being recorded
• We strongly recommend disclosing to callers that calls may be recorded
• iVerse Apps is not liable for any legal consequences arising from your use of call recording

Phone numbers

• Phone numbers provisioned through HiReceptionist are leased to you for use during your active subscription
• Numbers remain the property of our telecom providers (Twilio / Exotel) and are managed on your behalf
• Numbers may be reclaimed if your account is inactive for 90 or more days
• Porting your number out to another provider is supported upon request — contact support
• Upon account termination, provisioned numbers will be released after 30 days

Intellectual property

We own: The HiReceptionist platform, software, user interface, branding, technology, and all associated intellectual property.

You own: Your data — including call logs, transcripts, contact records, and the receptionist prompts and configurations you create.

By using HiReceptionist, you grant iVerse Apps a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.

Limitation of liability

HiReceptionist is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

• We are not liable for missed calls, incorrect AI responses, or lost business opportunities
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the total fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim
• Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties — in such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iVerse Apps, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from your account settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these terms
• We may terminate inactive accounts (no logins for 12+ months) with 30 days notice
• Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
• Provisions that should survive termination (IP, liability, indemnification) will do so

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Punjab, India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days notice via email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
